South Stark Career Academy provides career-technical education (CTE) programs, services, and resources for students from Canton Local, East Canton, Perry, and Sandy Valley. These programs are designed to give students knowledge and skills in a variety of career fields, and they prepare students for entry-level employment or transition to post-secondary education or advanced training. Essentially, students in our programs receive a head start in the career pathway of their choice!

Admission into our programs is competitive, and grades and attendance are considered. Every program has opportunities embedded in their courses for college credits, and many programs have industry credential opportunities for qualifying students. Students become prepared for careers and college, and they gain skills they’ll have for a lifetime!

Our districts provide transportation for student travel from their home districts to their programs, and we have a team of counselors, administrators, and other faculty and staff who support students attending two districts each day.
